Hey beautiful, I'm Layne! Thank you so much for stopping by! I am a freelance makeup and airbrush tanning artist serving the Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.  I've been in the industry for over thirteen years and I've had the amazing opportunity to provide my services to many clients in and around North and South Carolina.

My love for skincare and makeup began at a young age where lifelong lessons were instilled in me by my mother, who was a cosmetologist at the time.  One of her lessons was to never leave the house without mascara and lip gloss.  A lesson I still follow to this day.  I started to cultivate my makeup skills as a competitive dancer throughout my childhood and college and was able to parlay those skills into a successful freelance career.

I am so grateful that I've been able to share my love for all things makeup and beauty with all of my past and future clients.  My goal for Layne Barter Makeup is to offer the best experience, knowledge, and products that I can.  I will continue to educate myself and only bring you the best of all three when you're in my chair.
